Smart View TV collects and manages user data according to the following Privacy Policy, with the goal of incorporating our values: transparency, accessibility, sanity, usability. This document is part of Smart View TV's Terms of Service, and by using the app "Smart View TV", you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. We collect anonymous data from every user of the app to monitor traffic and fix bugs. We do not collect any sensitive private or personal data. Your search terms, playlists, account information (including email and password) are not collected by Smart View TV. No private information is collected from your device such as: GPS data, call logs, message logs, other installed apps, iTunes account information, contact information, camera data. Your account details including email and password are never stored on your device and are never collected by Smart View TV. An access token is encrypted and securely saved in your device's keychain. This access token cannot be traced back to your account or your password. Smart View TV performs caching of all images displayed on screen. This includes video thumbnail images, channel profile images and playlist thumbnail images. These images are cached on your device to reduce network usage and are deleted after a certain period of time. None of these images are collected and transmitted by Smart View TV.



We only use the anonymous data to fix bugs and to provide a better user experience.



We do not share specific information that we have collected with third parties. All information we collect is anonymous and cannot be connected to a specific person or device. We may share aggregated, anonymized reports such as the number of devices running Smart View TV, which countries most use Smart View TV, which type of device is most used, which language is most used. We may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, user information is typically one of the transferred business assets. Moreover, if we, or substantially all of our assets, were acquired, or if we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of us or our assets may continue to use your anonymous user information as set forth in this policy.



We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make major changes in the way we collect or use information, we will notify you by publishing an update for the app. A user is bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy when he or she uses the services after such changes have been first posted.
